Our stay at Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites in Florence was exceptional! The accommodations were incredibly spacious and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options that got each of our three days of exploring off on the right foot. The location of the hotel couldn't be more ideal—right in the heart of Florence, within walking distance of all the major attractions. It made our sightseeing effortless and enjoyable. But what truly sets Corte Calzaiuoli apart is the incredible staff. After we had already left Florence on a plane, I realized I had left my CPAP machine and case on the streets. Panicked, I emailed the hotel receptionist, Nicolleta. Their staff immediately went above and beyond, rushing to the area I had described, spoke with the local shop owners, and miraculously found my CPAP device. They then arranged to have it shipped all the way back to my home in the USA. Their kindness, dedication, and swift action is greatly appreciated! Also, another big like goes to the great breakfast experience and the live omelette cooking by the lady chef, whom we like to thank along with the assistant, for making the breakfast tasty and memorable, as usual. For note, this is the second time I repeat the stay, which was in 2023…and this place will be my first choice of preference.

The breakfast was outstanding with many choices (that premium quality Tuscan ham will live in my mind rent free, oh so yummy). No matter what we plan to do the day of, we made sure to swing by and had breakfast beforehand, it's just that good. The hosts were warm and welcoming. They cleaned our room and changed our towels daily. The building is located right in the middle of a shopping street but it's extremely quiet and nice. I love that once you open the main door and step out, you're in a middle of everything: shopping, restaurants, attractions, etc. We hope we could be back soon!

While it feels chaotic on the street at times, by the time you catch the elevator to level 2 (there are only 11 rooms all on level 2), you are in a quiet oasis. Martina and Regina booked our group dinner in local restaurants - all felt authentic and delicious. I can thoroughly recommend Corte Calzaiuoli Suites - 5 stars for us.
